~ be reasonable ~

“We can do what we want to do, accomplish what we want to accomplish, attain any reasonable objective we may have in mind. So, what are we waiting for?” Brahma Kumaris

Its not unreasonable to be reasonable in our aims and intentions. As long as we know we are really reasonable in our outlook and approach. We need to be somehow imbued with many fine qualities and principles, learned from our humanity to behave in this way.

Not so easy in practice, to set good clear goals and objectives, to be realistic in our mission and to be good guardians of something often referred to as “right”.

To have right on our side, to make good our intent, to implement in a fair handed way, well this takes times and most often many attempts with success counted less often than the attempts themselves.

We need be careful in our agreement and absorption of sayings and their meaning, for they are blunt and often very difficult to achieve. We need to set our aim as straight as an arrow and we will find our path bent and our heads bowed many a time on the way. Silly we would be if we gave up on trying and at the same time applying common sense to our successes and failures. Stark is the outlook when we are given sayings and offerings which hold our true capacities far short of any ethical benchmark.

Just remind ourselves, we are human, we are fallible and we need learn from our own endeavour. We need also be extremely careful when we observe and judge others. We are in fact judging ourselves every time we do, with parsimony and bad conscience. Apply good conscience and see reality, the path is as long and tricky for any who tread endeavour, and endeavour will be our mark in history.
