~ well being ~

Our well being is relative to our physical, emotional and spiritual balance. And when we suggest a balance its a balance of all three elements which helps us to function as we would wish.

When no effort to be well is required everything is automatic and we just get on, experiencing normal life. And again normal might be a relative term too.

Well being is not really that easy to achieve when our auto pilot fails to work well.

We have to put effort into most of what we do on every level, and then calibrate our well being, deciding what we need to improve our lot.

So if we know our physical needs attention we can adjust ourselves. If we know our emotional situation needs attention we can provide what we feel we need or ask others for support. And for our spiritual, now thats consistent with our life beliefs and values.

All three or just one of our elements, "out of sorts", can cause major difficulties day to day or for long periods of time. We need pay attention simply and gently to our situation with three questions we can ask ourselves. How am I feeling? Why? What can I do?
