~ Masters of the Universe~

Good conscience and our World

Our world is billions of years old. Its been around so much longer than us, we might be surprised we are the highest form of life to inhabit it since it came into being. We know the age of the earth, our science is able to interpret the data and information. Hard science prevails as we move on from here.

Yet we are resolute as human beings that hard science does not explain the meaning of life, the Universe and everything. We feel intuitively there is a purpose and that there is something metaphysical and spiritual about our world and our lives.

We are here as humans, a race of beings so young to the Universe and our Planet Earth, we are a mere flotsam in the greater picture. Our religious and metaphysics and spiritual connections tend to give us largesse inconsistent with size and longevity. Yet we persist with the notion that we are important and meaningful, not only to ourselves, but to the creator of this world and of course the Universe.

So how grandiose are we? As we shuffle about and make the most of our lives, so important to us, yet hardly registering in this vast Universe, the creation of a being, a deity which made us as close to his or her image?

We are quite rightly self important, for our self importance helps us as humans with our confidence and our ego. We need both, confidence and ego, our “ying and yang” to make our world work for us. And our ying and yang, a part of the life force many believe to be the reason we are here at all.

Without reference to a higher power or deity, I am reminded that we humans have an ever developing conscience. Conscience in the sense of what is right and wrong, what we stand for as human beings and how we would develop our connection to each other and our world.

Conscience plays on the mind of all humans who have the benefit of connection with others. We learn our right and wrong, from long established patterns designed by nature and then enshrined in our cultures.

And in reality the development of our good conscience and relationship with the world is mostly why we as higher thinkers and feelers are here, our purpose. Above of course the imperative of ensuring our species continues through procreation, we have certainly developed our worth and value to have superior qualities to other forms of life on our planet.

We forget as we came from nothing, we return to nothing. That the reason we are here must be more than survival itself. For if we are enabled, we have a happy life in relation to our consciousness.

And through our learning of joy and sadness, we refine our consciousness and feed our spiritual selves. Our spiritual element is a part of us which is beyond the physical living, yet we feel a connection to this vast Universe, which develops as we mature individually and as a culture and as a race.

We move along in so many dimensions we are lost from time to time in each one. And we divide our time and learning as we may. Always subject to opportunity, consciousness and good conscience.

Where would we be without our good conscience, and where would we be if we were not important to this world and the Universe and its Creator?

Better we have good conscience which challenges forever the behaviour of all us humans as we are forever learning the meaning of life. And in good conscience our lives enriched, our race will make good our primary purpose in this world. And in good conscience we may exit this world with good grace and acceptance of this world, the Universe and everything.
